we love tea- and hope you do too! ours comes from a farmer in uji, japan- a place known for the best matcha in the whole world. 

our tea is JAS certified organic, grown without pesticides, and mostly importantly tastes amazing. we opt for single cultivar teas when possible, so you can taste the individual flavours. 

our founder, carli, has been drinking and loving matcha since 2016 and always dreamed about founding her own matcha brand. in 2025 she finally decided to do it after travelling to japan. she ordered as many samples of matcha as she could get her hands on before deciding on okumidori and hojicha for our first drop.
